Mamou Cajun Music Festival

The Mamou Cajun Music Festival began as a oneday festival presenting some of the local Cajun musicians to the citizens of Mamou and Evangeline Parish. It has since become what it is today, a two-day music festival, presenting traditional Cajun musicians, dancing, food, and contest.

Louisiana Cotton Festival

The Louisiana Cotton Festival is held the 6th weekend after Labor Day in October. Come join us for a carnival, cook-off, pet show, music, pageants, and parade. You are sure to have a “Cotton Pickin Good Time”!

Louisiana Tournoi

Christmas in the Village

Village of Turkey Creek’s “Christmas in the Village” starts with the Santa Christmas Parade that includes vintage and antique. In the park there are games, food, music, petting zoo, pony rides and activities for the whole family including fireworks. There is also a wooded trail ride that end with gumbo in the arena. Second week of December.
