Le Tournoi de la Ville Platte

Experience a medieval sport transported into modern times only in Ville Platte. 

Competitors, while riding horseback with a long slender lance in hand, will attempt to capture the seven evils of cotton represented by small rings suspended from poles around a track. 

You have to witness it to believe it.

There is an entry fee for spectators, which will be confirmed closer to the event date. Get there early. Get a good spot. Bring a lawn chair. And, prepare for an unforgettable competition that you'll want to keep coming back for.
