About the event
Veterans Day Parade:
- Line up at 10 a.m. at Mamou High School
- Parade begins at 11 a.m.
- Parade will end at the American Legion Post 123 (420 Main Street, Mamou)
- All parade participants must represent patriotism. Music and decorations must follow the theme of Red, White and Blue.

Veterans Day Ceremony:
- Begins at 12 p.m. - Opening remarks from the Parade Grand Marshal. There will be a Flyover and Retiring of the Colors.
Events after Veterans Day Ceremony:
- Mamou students shoebox floats awards presentation
- Cake Auction to support the American Legion nonprofit organization
This event is being hosted by the American Legion Post 123.
